Sally obtained her Bachelor of Arts in 2017 from the University of British Columbia, with a major in Philosophy and a secondary focus in Sociology. She contributed to the university newspaper, the Phoenix, and worked in the pharmaceutical and supplement industries.
She continued her education in the legal industry and attained a certificate in legal administrative studies, which led her to work at a personal injury firm. During this time, she was immersed in the world of law and policy, and brought forward that knowledge into her marketing, creative and product development career.
With previous exposure to website, sound design, copywriting and creative, she decided to dive into a marketing career at Volero Brands.
Sally joined the Volero team and developed her skills through hands-on experience and education at BCIT. During this time, she worked on brands like Flyte, Hipbees and Compliance Brand.
She was heavily exposed to the cannabis and beauty industries and used her previous law and educational experiences to navigate through the stringent Health Canada cannabis regulations – specifically with regard to compliant cannabis packaging.
Sally worked and grew with an incredible team that moved on to form Brandolier.
