Subsequent to graduating from Douglas College with a Bachelors of Business Administration focused in Accounting, Colin went on complete his Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation while working for mid-sized accounting firm in South Surrey. During his tenure at the firm, he focused on audit, review and corporate tax engagements.

About five years later and eager to face a new challenge, Colin moved on to working as a Controller in the Cannabis industry. While there, he built out the financial department and systems used by the Company including the implementation of an ERP and standardizing processes to a new company. Among his various duties, he performed budgeting, income and cash flow forecasting, cost analysis and legal agreement review.
